Boom Beach Villages and Accounts

A Boom Beach account is only supported on one device. In order to save your progress in the game you should connect it to Game Center on iOS or to Google+ on Android. Please note, that playing your game without connecting it to Game Center or Google+ may lead to permanent loss of your Boom Beach account in case you e.g. need to switch device, reinstall the game or factory reset your device.

Save your progress with Game Center

Commander! Make sure all your hard work is not in vain and connect your Boom Beach account to Game Center. Game Center is an App by Apple which helps you save your in-game progress, and transfer it to another device if needed.
Important: Game Center only supports one game per account. This means you can only have one game of Boom Beach per device. If for example more people in your family play Boom Beach, make sure that each game is connected to its own, unique Game Center account!

How to do it?

  1. Start by locating your device settings and scroll down until you see "Game Center"

  2. Tap Apple ID
  3. If you already have an account, simply log in
  4. If you don't have an account yet, create your own, new Apple ID (make sure you're not connected to iCloud)
  5. After that locate and launch the Game Center app on your home screen

  6. Open the tab "Games", choose Boom Beach and tap on the three little dots in the upper right corner and choose "Play"

  7. Boom Beach will launch and if the connection was successful you will see a banner in the upper part of the screen saying "Welcome back, yourname"

Now your Boom Beach account is safe!

Transfer iOS to iOS

You can play your account on multiple devices or transfer your account to a new device by using Game Center. We'll show you how to do that in a couple of easy steps:

  1. First make sure that your game on your original device is connected to a unique Game Center account. To do so, go to your device settings > scroll down to Game Center > make sure that you are either logged in with your Apple ID or create a new account. Warning: do not share accounts with anyone - you always need to connect your account to your own Game Center account.
  2. Then go back to your home screen, open the Game Center App, choose "Games" from the toolbar, choose "Boom Beach" and then tap the three little dots in the right corner and choose "play". When you see the "welcome back, yourname" banner at the top of the screen, you know you have connected your Boom Beach game to Game Center successfully.

  3. After you have done all this you can go to your new/other device. Launch Game Center and login with the same Game Center Account you used on your old device. When opening the game you should see a pop up that asks you if you wish to load the game from your old device. Confirm and you are ready to go!

Transfer iOS to Android or vice versa

You can transfer your base from an iOS device to an Android device (or vice versa) using a one-time code generated in your game. You need to have access to both your iOS device and Android device for this to work. To transfer your base, the account on your Apple device must be connected to Game Center, and the game on your Android must be connected to Google+.

You can verify Game Center connection on iOS by logging into Game Center, then opening Boom Beach from Game Center's 'Games' tab. For Android, open Boom Beach and connect your base to Google+ in the in-game settings by selecting the Google+ sign in button.

To transfer your base, just follow these steps:

  1. Open Boom Beach on both your Android and iOS devices (old device and new device)
  2. Open the in-game settings window on both devices
  3. Press 'Accounts' → 'Link a device' button on your old device
  4. Choose 'This is the old device' on which ever one is applicable, then 'I want to link to another device'
  5. You should receive a code - write it down

  6. Then press the 'Link a device' button on your new device
  7. Chose 'This is the new device' and enter the code you from your old device
    Important: When entering the code, do not use the space bar on the keyboard, this will prevent you from finishing the code

After you have successfully copied the code from one device to the other, your original base will be transferred, allowing you to play one account on both devices so you can Resume the Boom.

Transfer Android to Android

Open Boom Beach on your Android device and make sure that you have connected to Google Play. Add the same Google Play account to your new device through Users → Add new. Launch the game and select Sign into Google Play and select your Google account. Boom Beach will detect the new Google Play account and confirm the transfer on the device.

      Apple hasn't removed Game Center, they've just removed the app. You can still find the Game Center settings in the Settings app and Boom Beach still uses Game Center. In the "Save your progress with Game Center" section of this article, steps 5 and 6 can be replaced by just opening the Boom Beach app from your home screen. Other steps still apply as usual.

    Hi, I have already linked my account from my ipod to an account i don't remember. Is there a way I can get to know that account? Where can I see whit which account my boom beach game is linked? Now i have the next problem, when i try to link my new phone (samsung) to my old account on my ipod it says that it is already linked to an other account and I only can link it once..... How can I fix this??

    I share my iTunes account with my husband so when I load my base a page comes up with options to load his base or cancel. I accidentally chose load and now I can't get my base back. Help!!

      You can't get your base back if you didn't link it to a Game Center account as your device's base has been replaced by the base from the logged in account. Always make sure you have your base linked to a Game Center account to avoid losing your base.

    Any help on this would be appreciated, thanks in advance. I wanted to contact the game support through inside the game like they request but can't since the link where they say the "contact us" in the top right side of the help window is not there. The link and the words don't exist in my app. What do I do since I have to contact the, through the game but cannot since the contact us link doesn't exist.

    Do I delete the app and try to reinstall or wait for an update to come through and it might be there?

    i bought my daughter an ipod created her a mail account but put the same apple id as mine on her ipod. started boom beach and it worked great for a long time until..... i accidentally logged in to game center on her ipod with my apple id.. then every time i would open her boom beach it would ask if i wanted to load my base... i would hit cancel and her base would load, no problem until.... i woke up the other morning, started her ipod opened boom beach and poof! my base loaded... cant get hers back... any help on this?

      You can't get the base back if it's not linked to a Game Center account and is no longer present on the device.

    i started an account on my moms ipad with her apple i.d./game center i.d. but recently just got an iphone and created my own gamecenter account. i was able to transfer it successfully from ipad to my phone but only under her game center name and password. is there any way to switch accounts but keep my base under my newly created account?

    When trying to link from android to iPhone 7, that old device and new device, get code etc., I get this message: "Cannot overwrite base

    Your base is already permanently attached to the Game Center account you have logged in with.

    Because the base already has progress (headquarters level 4 or a purchase made), it cannot be overwritten anymore. "

    Does that mean the 4 accts I have with this old Android are stuck here? What happens when it breaks??

    Please help! I don't have the Google Play sign in "connected/disconnected" button on my iPhone, that's what I use to switch between my 4 accounts on my android

    "Add the same Google Play account to your new device through Users → Add new."

    That doesn't work becasue:

    1) There is no "Users -Add New" menu in the game

    2) As soon as you start a newly installed Boom Beach game on ANdroid then Google Play Games connects that new game to your Google Play Games account, effectively overwriting your old game account.

    This is stupid. Please fix this mess

    Hey George, I have a second account on an android that I want to transfer to an iPad with a new Apple ID but my original main account is locked into that one even though I'm signed into the new ID, I already reset it but when I try to link it tells me to sign into my main Apple ID because the new one isn't associated with the account. So my question is what will happen if I log back into my original Apple ID strictly on the Game Center so that I'm able to do the link from the android to iPad? Will I also see that same base when I log into it through the iPhone? I just don't wanna lose my main account. Thanks..

      You should be able to link your iPhone 6s directly from your iPhone 4s (even without your iPhone 4s) providing you use the same Game Center account on your iPhone 6s that you used on your iPhone 4s, bypassing your Android device. This will still have your progress from your Android device though.
